Agree. Unfortunately. It'd be killer to lose him because he has been a
project that required a lot of work, and last season it finally started
coming together, so it'd be a real piss-off to lose him after we help him
smooth out all the rough edges.
Yes, 5 million, 6 year deal. I hate those long deals, but we know Komisarek
and I think he'll be good for a long time.
Higgins is a big question mark to me. What's his top-end, and what type of
contract gets him locked up? I'm not sure, and I'm not sure if we can
commit big money on a long term deal without his role being clear.
Pleks is a excellent #2 centre who can play the #1 role in a pinch. I'd
agree with negotiating a long term deal on that basis. And while this might
sound crazy-high, I'd have to agree that about $5 million is the going
rate, or will be by next season.
