48 as of this time and date, and when you include the players
otherwise moved in trades, that averages out to almost 2 players per
team. How many rookies will make each team, on average? More than
before because the teams will be looking to sign players to the
minimum in order to conserve cap space.

What this means is that virtually every team will have a bunch of
new faces this year, and in all the years to come. All of this
player movement cannot be good for the league.
