Post subject: Two Alberta teams, two wins, but...
Archived from groups: alt>sports>hockey>nhl>edm-oilers (more info?)

I watched Detroit lose to both Alberta teams in back to back nights, and I
gotta tell you, from a pure entertainment value, the Oiler win was by far
the more exciting game to watch. And I think that is typical of most games
these two teams will play.

I know the Flames are red-hot, but jeez, are they ever boring to watch, even
when they are winning. I think Naslund took a swipe at the Flames, too,
after the Canucks beat the Wings a few days ago, something to the effect of
"that game (the Detroit win) was fun, that team actually tries to play
hockey".

Watch teams like the Sens, Oil and Nucks, and then try watching the Flames.
I don't care if they win 20 in a row, it is BORING hockey.
