Sabres vs. Avalanche

Did the Sabres just have an off game? They seemed to start quick, but then
tailed off throughout the game. The effort in the third period was pretty
poor overall.

Anyone think that Pominville deflected the first goal? I didn't get to see
it enough to be sure. Also looked like Kalinin got the game winner for the
Avs.

I thought Drury looked pretty good for his first game back.

Here's hoping for a better result against The Wild.

They were pretty flat the whole game; really fell after the shortie.
Particularly bad game by (IMO) Roy, Miller, Kalinin, Tepo

Post-game consensus was it went off his butt; scorer gave it to
Wolinski, robbing Sakic of it (Wolinski agreed)

Another defensive/trap team, with yet another Sat (NJ). They better
learn to adjust on the fly if teams decide this is good strategy against
them
