What could they get for these guys if Chia trades them early? Axe has lost
his mojo and Alberts just can't learn that position at D (or make a decnt
pass up ice).

I'm not good at the GM stuff but I would want a decent forechecker.
Bochenski might be added in there.

I think if you added Bochenski you might be able to get Joe Thornton
back.

I don't think either is going to bring much. Trading for the sake of
trading will get us nowhere. Axe is still a good defensive forward and we
need as much defensive help as possible. Jury is still out on Alberts and
Bochenksi. We are too quick to pull the trigger these days (Jurcina,
Boyes). If they were able to bundle a couple of guys together to get us a
top D-Man I would consider it, but no lateral movements.

After seeing TT out there saving the victory by himself at times against SJ
I'm convinced we need more muscle. We lost all the one-on-one battles (as
well as faceoffs), same as in the Anaheim game. Thomas stole that with
amazing save after another. The B's need more grit and snarl. Axe's play has
diminished some and Alberts will never learn to make smart plays. Last night
Alberts gets possession after SJ had it for a long time in the D zone. He
has time and yet still passes up to Murray who was covered. Almost ended up
in a goal for SJ. They never gave Jurcina a chance. Alberts has had plenty.
