I plan to. Finally our newspaper today called out Bob Naegele as being
cheap. The Wild are $14 million under the salary cap, and blame the
lost season on the young players not performing. What a crock. How
about blaming the owner for not bringing in the talent to compete. Of
course we all know the young players are cheaper and that is why they
are on the roster before they are ready. To save money over signing
veterans. The paper also pointed out the Wild fans are growing
restless and the fans in Minnesota deserve more. I'm sure you are
excited about the playoff run in Houston for the Aeros. We want the
same in Minnesota. Tough to achieve when you have the cheapest owner
in the NHL that will not spend the money to upgrade the team. He is
far more interested in pulling a profit from the team, as opposed to
having a winning team. These types of owners usually fail. Owning a
sports team is more of a hobby, and successful owners are those that
can afford to take a bit of a loss, but it is worth it to the owner for
the satisfaction of the playoff run. Naegele is not wealthy enough to
own the Wild. I see him selling in the next few years. He is getting
very close to Norm Green status.
Go Mr. Westrum!!!!
