Once again Bob Naegele refused an interview with the Star Tribune. He
is afraid to address his way below salary cap team and their cheap
operations. He mostly stays in Florida and could care less about
Minnesota fans. The Genernal Manager Doug Riseborough was asked about
the team payroll for next year. All he could say is they are going to
make the right decisions. They are going to stay the course. OH
GREAT????? Get ready Wild fans for another offseason where we lose
some good players again (like Brunette last year) and then pick up a
token free agent or two. They smoke will be blown up our butt saying
what a great improvement they made to the team. And then when we miss
the playoffs again, the GM will complain, like he did this year, that
many players didn't have career years and that is why we missed the
playoffs. I get sick of hearing the GM complain about our players. I
thought the Wild played hard and up to their capabilities. The real
problem is the GM does not bring in the talent to win. To blame the
current players is so low class.

Well Bob, enjoy your life in Florida. I will be back after the free
agent signing period is over to once again comment on how cheap you are
and how far below the salary cap your team's payroll is. I have
absolutely no doubts you will continue your cheap ways. You will
however find that the Wild fans are getting restless. I guess that is
when you will sell the team.

Go Wild....inspite of their cheap owner and hypocritical GM.

Have a nice summer, now that it's already under way up there...while the
Wild's AHL team down here starts the Calder Cup playoffs Friday night.

I plan to. Finally our newspaper today called out Bob Naegele as being
cheap. The Wild are $14 million under the salary cap, and blame the
lost season on the young players not performing. What a crock. How
about blaming the owner for not bringing in the talent to compete. Of
course we all know the young players are cheaper and that is why they
are on the roster before they are ready. To save money over signing
veterans. The paper also pointed out the Wild fans are growing
restless and the fans in Minnesota deserve more. I'm sure you are
excited about the playoff run in Houston for the Aeros. We want the
same in Minnesota. Tough to achieve when you have the cheapest owner
in the NHL that will not spend the money to upgrade the team. He is
far more interested in pulling a profit from the team, as opposed to
having a winning team. These types of owners usually fail. Owning a
sports team is more of a hobby, and successful owners are those that
can afford to take a bit of a loss, but it is worth it to the owner for
the satisfaction of the playoff run. Naegele is not wealthy enough to
own the Wild. I see him selling in the next few years. He is getting
very close to Norm Green status.

Go Mr. Westrum!!!!

Yuppers, I loved reading what the Star Tribune had to say about them being
cheap.
Maybe things will change who knows?
