The more I watch his fights on Hockeyfights.com, I am totally impressed and
not just because he destroyed the fridge. This is a young guy with great
size...but watch him throw!!....he pulls incredibly hard with his off hand
and almost always pulls his opponent off balance and continuing to use the
other hand at the same time! Plus he throws BODY shots....when was the last
time you saw effective body shots? We need this guy and for only a couple
100k more than the fridge. Anyone know what his injury and IR stays were?

The question would be why he's needed on this team, when they already
have Ben Eager plus a a few D-men (Hatcher and now Smith) to keep the
other teams honest.

Either Fedoruk or Boogaard would be a waste of the tiny amount of cap
space left to this team.

We are out of signing money by now, I should think. The small amount of
extra salary going to a position upgrade would be negliable I would think.
Boogaard is a true heavyweight and an enforcer....top 10 kind of guy.
Eager....while...uh..."eager" to make his mark as such, has yet to prove he
can belong in that top class. You really think Hatcher is going to throw
hands anymore? I Don't think so. Can't say I know enough about Smith but
the skinny on him is....tough...gamer.......but fighter? Plus you need him
to steady the lines and game....not be in the box. Same with Hatcher
especially on the PK.The fans need someone who can hit a "homerun" and raise
the roof....and it's really not Eager.
