Sounds as if Toronto finally got their man.

As nice as it is knowing this brilliant hockey mind is making decisions for
our team. It's only fair letting him go to turn the Toronto franchise
around. I just wonder how much control and drive he'll have to do just that.
He's no spring chicken anymore. I don't think he could handle the everyday
coaching duties but this may be something he can do well still, even at his
age.
Good luck Scotty, and thanks for the time you were here.

You don't have anything to worry about there. Not gonna happen. Neither
team has the horses to make the finals any time soon.

....and true.

The Wings haven't made the Finals in five years. Last year was probably
their weakest team since the year before they lost to San Jose the first
time, and this year's team is even worse.

Nah, they just aren't great.

You mean like he did when he was GM in Buffalo? I'm all for that!

Isn't Bowman close to 70 now? I wouldn't get too excited about this if
I were a fan of either team.

I think its a terrible move on his part also. And that's probably why he's
vehemently denying the rumors. Much rather have him on our side than theirs.
