Boyle Perhaps?

Getting down to slim pickins on the UFA market, assuming Sundin is toast.
Other than Hossa, who it sounds is looking elsewhere, there isn't much else
to go after. I'm wondering if BG is interested in trading for Dan Boyle.
Certainly, Tampa must be heading into some sort of cap problem so perhaps we
could help them out. Obviously, Tampa can't go for any players that will
command big bucks so they will either be after cheap role plyers, pre-NHL
youngins with potential or the always covetted draft picks.

I can't really see Boyle or McCabe on Gainey's radar. We might just
as well have kept Streit if he thought he needed that style of
player. It's just too much money for a specialty player when we
already have big money on the D.
