The Rangers are a better team now than they were earlier in the year.
Adding Avery helped a lot. Losing Ozolinsh, the 2 Wards, and Hall
actually helped them. Jagr and Shanahan always seem to kill us.
Lundqvist is a pretty good goalie.
However, their D is VERY slow ... the whole team is slow actually. And
Buffalo is one of the fastest teams in the league. The finally healthy
Tim Connolly appears to be at last year's playing level - and to me,
he's the team's secret weapon - both on the PK and the PP. Add a
healthy Paul Gaustad and this already well-balanced team is even
better. Miller is playing great. Our D is playing great. Frankly, I
don't see where the Rangers will be a better opponent than the
Islanders. The playoff-ready Isles would have given Detroit, Ottawa
and any of the other top teams in the league a hard time. It seems odd
to say this, especially in the 2nd round, but this Rangers series
might be easier for the Sabres then the first round.
What's it all mean ? Sabres will SWEEP ! Each game being 17 - 0.

True, but they haven't played them since December 1st. Hopefully Gaustad
can play in the series.

I think the Rangers come into the series with a LOT of confidence. OTOH, the
Sabres came face-to-face with an inferior opponent that gave them a few
fits. Here's hoping the Rangers will be approaching this series like Ottawa
did last year and further hoping these old farts start feeling their age. >> Stay informed about: Bring on the Rangers! |

I am hoping for a sweep so they can rest up for the next series
against New Jersey. This way we can go around the world on that scum
of the earth section of the North East. I hope they put Weeks in net a
couple times, we can light up him too. I dont think they can hang with
us. We just need to put some vodka in Jagr waterbottle and we are set. >> Stay informed about: Bring on the Rangers! |
