Does anyone really think that the Sabres are going to pay him what he
wants in the offseason? I like Campbell, but when it comes down to
it, I bet that he is going to want more than 5 mil a year, and I just
don't think he's worth that. I do like how resilient he is, he is the
only one that doesn't seem to get injured much. He is also a fan
favorite, and I don't see how the fans could be pleased if they just
let him go like Briere and Drury. The cap keeps rising every year,
and it seems like the whole strike didn't accomplish anything when
it's said a done, so what are a team like the Sabres to do when they
can't even turn a profit each year?
