The only options the Flyers had were to send him back to juniors, keep him
on the roster for I believe eight games to give them a little more time to
evaluate his play or keep him on their roster permanantly. He is too young
to play for the Phantoms and from what I've read today Flyers management
only saw him playing on the third or fourth line and felt that another year
in juniors would be more beneficial in the long run. I think the Flyers
will keep Boulerice on their roster, and send Downie to the Phantoms but
pull him up on a semi-regular basis during the season. Cote to the Phantoms
as well. I haven't heard much talk about Parent - I haven't seen a minute
of Flyers games this preseason. How is he doing?
