Do you think you have what it takes to be an Islanders Ice Girl?
For nearly a decade the Islanders Ice Girls have revolutionized the in-
game entertainment at the Nassau Coliseum and the off-ice community
work on Long Island. As a member of the Islanders Ice Girls squad you
are an integral part of the Islanders family. From interacting with
fans during the game, to visiting local hospitals, the Islanders Ice
Girls represent the Islanders organization all year round and all over
the Island.
Ice Girl auditions for the 2008-09 team will be held this coming
Saturday, August 9th at 9:30 a.m. at the Islanders Iceworks facility
in Syosset.
The tryout is open to all women 18-years-of-age and older. You should
wear form-fitting athletic clothes, come with your make-up complete,
and be sure to bring your own figure skates. Please also remember to
bring a resume and headshot to the audition. These tryouts will be
taped for IslandersTV.
