Rozsival was a mistake. They should've let him walk, plain and
simple, and I worried Lamoriello might've even considered him.
Redden, well, people hated him in Ottawa. Maybe they were simply dead
set on putting a face to the collapse, and his was the one they wanted
to use, but bringing in a player that is leaving their previous club a
hated man has to be a red flag.
For a trap playing, defense-first squad like the Rangers, it
absolutely makes more sense to sign Redden rather than defense-last
Brian Campbell. I have a feeling the Blackhawks crazy figure out-
dumbed Sather's on that one.
As of right now, the Rangers forward corps is in shambles. Petr
Prucha is their top right wing on the depth charts. Means they'll
probably dish out 10 million on Mats Sundin, and just keep adding
centers.

R.J. >> Stay informed about: Commodore to Columbus, Redden to Rangers |

I am going to disagree. I really don't think Redden is worth that money.
Then again, who is? >> Stay informed about: Commodore to Columbus, Redden to Rangers |

well, I agree with you there. I'm basing my "probably worth that" on
what other players are getting. He's a top-tier D-man and definitely
worth more than Roszival. of course Rangers salaries are always on a
scale all their own. >> Stay informed about: Commodore to Columbus, Redden to Rangers |
