Sounds like the Canes arena too. God, I hated Raleigh lol

Uh---the arena in Raleigh for the Canes is right next to NC State University
and their football stadium. Hardly in the middle of nowhere. Hahaha. Talk
more about the post game show though. ;)

I don't really get this comment. If all these players we had acquired around
Ziggy had stayed healthy; I think you'd be singing a much different tune. They
have spent a good sum of money on players. Ally was making $8mil. Not exactly
chump change and Deader wasn't cheap either. The past 2 years unfortunately
have seen nearly all the Kings' skill players go down with some sort of injury.
We can all harp on the fact that the Kings supposedly haven't spent the
"requisite" money, but they've been in the upper 8 or so in payroll the past 2
seasons and due to injuries; we didn't get to see the fruit of DT's hard work.
Lots of Monday morning quarterbacking going on here and it gets rather old ya
know. :/ Jeff

well, if no one else has offered more, and the current pay scale is
doomed, how much exactly is the "requisite money"???. that's what I'd
sure like to know. I side with you somewhat, but at one point you have
to ask how much is a fair offer?

Palffy has not said anything to that effect. Unless you can point us to the
exact quote I'm not taking your word for it. I have been paying close attention
to the situation since the start and Ziggy has said he doesn't expect to play
for the Kings again but he certainly hasn't said that he won't. And considering
that he has yet to be signed by anyone else it leads me to believe he may be
asking mroe than he's going to get and in the end he's going to realize he is
not going to make as much as he thought and he'll return to the Kings who have
treated him very well the past 5 years.

No skin off my dick. I would have posted the link if I knew exactly
where I saw it.

Some of us are cynics and others are fanboys. When you've ridden the
Kings' roller coaster for 30 years, you get a bit crusty around the
edges.

if frolov and conroy are two of the three components of the #1 line, the
kings'll be playing golf in mid april.

well I wouldn't really make them my #1 line, no...but the Kings might
(at least in the case of Frolov, since I don't see them finding a better
LW anytime soon)
