Can't blame Dawes for the inability to score, but the guy can't handle
the puck at all.

Good a little shake up and now let's see if it does anything, but if this
team was relying on Dawes we are in big trouble.

And i'm assuming Moore goes down after Callahan comes back, I heard all 3
(Straka Callahan & Malik) are close.

They can always send him to your old men's, non-contact league up
there in Moose Balls, SK.

It is the pre-cursor to Hossa being sent down and picked up by another
team. Dawes isn't the problem or the solution. But Dawes can be sent
down without having to go through waivers. It is a message.

I bet Drury would clear waivers if we sent him down.

Wrong. They don't wear navy blue socks.

Hope you don't bet alot.

The issue was reportedly his play away from the puck. Positioning and
defensive responsibilities. Personally I think they just wanted to
get a look at Moore, and Dawes was at the bottom of the seniority
totem pole.

Also Straka and Callahan are day-to-day now, from what I've read, so
they're going to have to make space regardless.

Renney absolutely loves that fourth line.

This move makes no sense. Nigel's scored some key goals and is very
responsible positionally.

I say get rid of Hollweg and Orr. Those guys have no hands and are awful
players.

Apples and Oranges

Dawes is a goal scorer who is useless when he's not scoring...far too
weak on the puck.

How was that any different.... - How was that waved-off goal in Buffalo any different than the one in game 1 against the Rangers? Why did that one count, and this one didn't? By the way, VS. is absolutely terrible. Joe Beninati? Why don't they just get Rick Jeanerette or some other....

Scary good - More "scary" than "good".
