Same thought went racing through my flabbergasted mind. Why do teams
seem to have no problem cashing in on the 5-3 pp while the Rangers
have so much difficulty just getting the puck to the net? There is
just something fundamentality wrong here.

Absolutely an atrocious call against Edmonton. There is no excuse for
that call except the ref giving the Rangers a chance to even the game.
No doubt this was the Mother of all even up calls. Shameful decision
by the ref.

I thought for sure the game would end with the Rangers passing the
puck back and forth around the boards without even an attempt at the
goal.

Looking for the perfect play instead of overwhelming the opponent
with attack - the only thing I can think.
