Yep, a nice product of a system being played well.

I can't remember the Rangers ever having a defensemen as sound as
Giraldi....especially at that age.

I hear the Devils have some guy named Rachunek, though. He's having a

I think Straka is going to make the first line much, much better.
They need to be a little more dominant, and Hossa should be in a
defensive forward role, not trying to keep up with Jagr and Dubinsky.
Callahan will probably fit well with Drury and Prucha, and the fourth
line will be Betts and Hossa, with a mish mash of Hollweg, Orr and
Dawes, depending on who they're playing.

I think Dawes will be back in Hartford before too long, though.

As for Malik, I have no clue. There's no reason not to move him,
though. They've shown they're perfectly fine without him. Maybe
there's a deal with him and Prucha or someone else in the future?

Yes it will be nice to see the most underrated blueline in hockey get some
ink. In a game that looked like it was going to be the Sidney Crosby show
the Rangers Counter with Rosival, Girardi and Strudwick of all people.
