| Wow! .....is all I have to say.
That was nice to see!
I don't think I can ever recall a game where the Rangers scored this many
goals in a game where the defense scored them all.

I'll bet Brian Leetch was involved if it had ever happened before.

Yep, a nice product of a system being played well.
I can't remember the Rangers ever having a defensemen as sound as
Giraldi....especially at that age.

Yes, that was strange but that's nice when you see I guy like Girardi get a
goal and then Strudwick win it. >> Stay informed about: Defense |

Think Pittsburgh will trade him straight up for Malkin? Their names
are very similar.
I'd do it if I was Pittsburgh. >> Stay informed about: Defense |

I don't think Glen and Lou are too excited about trading with each
other.
I hear the Devils have some guy named Rachunek, though. He's having a
career year. Maybe they can make it happen. >> Stay informed about: Defense |

I think Straka is going to make the first line much, much better.
They need to be a little more dominant, and Hossa should be in a
defensive forward role, not trying to keep up with Jagr and Dubinsky.
Callahan will probably fit well with Drury and Prucha, and the fourth
line will be Betts and Hossa, with a mish mash of Hollweg, Orr and
Dawes, depending on who they're playing.
I think Dawes will be back in Hartford before too long, though.
As for Malik, I have no clue. There's no reason not to move him,
though. They've shown they're perfectly fine without him. Maybe
there's a deal with him and Prucha or someone else in the future? >> Stay informed about: Defense |

Say what you will, but if Pittsburgh offers Malkin for him, I say they
take it. >> Stay informed about: Defense |

Yes it will be nice to see the most underrated blueline in hockey get some
ink. In a game that looked like it was going to be the Sidney Crosby show
the Rangers Counter with Rosival, Girardi and Strudwick of all people. >> Stay informed about: Defense |

I recall Rexi getting a Hat trick on St. Patricks day I think.
1982 or 1983?
