FORWARD SHOULD BE AVAILABLE FOR HOME OPENER TONIGHT

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that right wing Guillaume
Desbiens has been assigned from the Chicago Wolves. In addition, forward
Jason Deitsch has been released.

The Alma, Quebec native has appeared in one game with the Chicago Wolves
this season but did not register a point.

Desbiens was the Thrashers 4th round selection in the 2003 NHL Draft, #
116 overall. He posted 43 points last year in the QMJHL with Rouyn-
Noranda.
