Looks like Salmela Poisoning has finally affected the rest of you
guys. I've had it for a few days. The symptoms include being
Finnish, and having an unnatural fear of David Backes.
I've already posted the Backes Beat-Down Salmela received at the World
Championships this year. I'm simply too terrified to do it again,
you'll have to search it out yourself. My entire body shakes, and my
vision is blurred. I feel like my brain is going to dissolve and
drain through my ear canals.
With the unbalanced schedule now gone, that means a re-match when the
Devs hook up with the Blues could be something to look forward to.
Especially if you're employed as a knuckle on one of Mr. Backes'
fists.
That is, if Salmela makes the team. This link doesn't say, but I
think I read it was only a one-year deal. If true, they're going to
be looking long and hard at him at training camp.
Signed,
R.J.
