Wow I was just glancing at the team stats and that jumped out at me.
Went to NHL.com as saw he's playing 13:42 a night.

It's interesting, they put him with Hannan last year as a top
pairing. He would look pretty good a few shifts, but then he'd get
burnt badly. Perhaps he can become a shutdown type of defenseman as
long as he not facing top end speed and skill. Hey, teams need those
type of guys too.

He's making Davison look very unnecessary.

Right. And he's some real muscle out there too.

What's amazing right now is the Sharks have the fourth most points in
the league, and look at the plus/minus stats for the individual
players on the team, and you have to wonder how they're where they
are?

Of course, three games against Phoenix helped. ;-)

Beating the stiffs always feels nice but may not indicate too much.

Beating? It was well beyond just beating! Yeah, you bet it feels
good. But, tomorrow I'm at the Anaheim game. That'll offer a better
yardstick of their progress...
