Okay I'm starting to get ill. Straka tonight goes down with what's
described(so far) as a knee sprain. This hopefully is minor and he's out for
no longer than the rest of the game that he was out tonight vs. the Blue
Jackets. We might actually have a better team on the IR list now than we
actually do here on the active list in LA. :( Frolov just might want to go
AWOL now and get the next flight back to Moscow. Jeff

Straka, too?? Wow. Snakebitten Kings. I didn't watch the game (U.S. Figure
Skating Championships-I'm a Sasha Cohen fan...snakebitten Sasha)...how did
it happen? TSN says he was helped off the ice by Kerry Fraser while play
continued. Crazy...

Nothing dirty. He did a hard cut-turn to pursue a loose puck and went
knee-to-knee with a BJacket. It buckled a bit.

I've always liked Fraser; best ref in the NHL for the last 10 years
IMHO. But because he's the best, he spends more time in the East
these days.

They made a liar out of me. I had Frolov the next to go down and Straka 3rd.
