This Sharks team is an optimist's delight! Injury problems, a sick power
play, 3 game losing streak including 2 against arch rival Dallas, and
they're still right in there, 3 points back of Anaheim, 5 ahead of Dallas,
and all teams have played 53 games. If they win 2 against the Ducks, they
take the division lead. They can't afford to lose 2 against them. Added
bonus: the trade deadline is at the end of their long road trip, and they
all know it, so hopefully their upcoming play will be more inspirational...

Bottom line: they have no excuses.

They either get hungry, in which case I am confident they'll win
(maybe both) or they become somnolent, and we know where that leads.

I hope McLaren will play tonight, but not if he is just going out for
another 10 games or whatever with his bad knee.

As for trades, how about Bell for Samsonov, straight up? The Habs can throw
in a draft pick, if they feel guilty...
