Time to strap those tennis rackets on your feet and hunt you another moose
for dinner this year. Bad enough your team let you down, now your country
did again!

Gonna be a long summer!

My country me let me down?

There are more Canadians on the Ducks than on the Senators moron.

Why do you even bother?

Interesting. Your a Canadian, living in Canada but you feel more
satisfaction in an American team winning the Cup when Canada hasnt produced
a team capable of winning it since the 93-94 season. Ok pal.
Here's some more advice. Bryan Murry doesnt have what it takes to win a Cup.
2 teams now have dumped him and went on to win the damn thing. They replacd
the wrong position. We brought Hasek in and he won us a Cup. Ottawa replaces
him with a rookie who got scortched. That's not good management.

There is no such thing as an American team in the NHL.

Ok pal.
> Here's some more advice. Bryan Murry doesnt have what it takes to win a Cup.

Interesting, because not only did he coach a team known for choking
almost as much
as Detoit does to the finals, he also largely built the Ducks
tema that beat him when he was its GM.

One of the main reasons they got to the finals was that they ran the
drunken snow angle
machin out of twon. The rid themselves of a big time cancer in the
room, a brilliant move
thay paid off huge for them.

>That's not good management.

Didn't Detroit run Cujo out of town to replace him with Legace?
Wouldn't
that fall into the same category.

When did the Rangers play in Canada? Oh, sorry, that was a rambling from

Nope. They simply didn't pick up Joseph's option. OTOH Ottawa replaced
Hasek with Emery who didn't even do as well against the Ducks as the
goalie he replaced. Emery contract was more than Hasek's too.

I think I heard Emery makes $850,000.00/yr. Ottawa brought Gerber in to
replace Hasek- he is the one that makes the bucks. And he lost the job to
Emery. I'm sure that will change.
BTW I think Emery did extremely well, his D on the other hand..... And what
about the non-exisitent powerhouse offence? Shut down. The majority of the
team did not play well and they were out coached.

Just a tad less than Gerber baby's 3.7 million yr this year, for keeping the
bench warm.

Put Hasek in net for the finals and he would have faked an injury in
the first period
of game two. Sorry Doug, but Emery was better than Hasek vs the Ducks,
he faced
alot more defenisve breakdowns than the DUI-mimator did.

Emery made $925000 last season, Hasek made $1.875 million after his
performance bonuses.

Maybe you are thinking of Gerber?

Osgoodish? Yikes.

You know, there was a time when Osgoodish was the best the Blues had in a
while.

This year, Manny Legace was outstanding.

And yes, I understand that we didn't play any playoff games.

But, from close observation, Legace is much better than Osgood.

He is better - but his "whatever happens happens" attitude is what got him
bounced out of Detroit. They felt he just was not that focused and
intense as to winning....

Yes, I know. No problem with that attitude in St. Louis, at least, not yet.
