9:04 isn't bad for a fourth line player.

I think he will get more but he is young and is not always in the right
place defensively.
Does he back check all the time, does he finish his checks, and can he Kill
penalties those are common questions.
What you do without the puck is as important as what you do with the puck.
He is growing and getting better and his ice time will increase as he shows
consistency.

those are all good points. but is there anyone hotter in the goal
scoring department for the pens right now?

i just think he should be on a line with some players who have
offensive skill and not centering the fourth line. if he can't handle
it and makes some of your aforementioned errors then bump him back
down to the 4th and cut his ice time. there now, that wasn't hard was
it?

His peformance against Montreal was excellent.
And as far as stats dont lie, he is second in current roster in
GoalsPerMinute!

Pens GoalsPerMinute:
1. -- C -- JORDAN STAAL -- 0,0273
2. -- D -- KRISTOPHER LETANG -- 0,0247
3. -- C -- ERIK CHRISTENSEN -- 0,0244
4. -- C -- EVGENI MALKIN -- 0,0241
5. -- C -- SIDNEY CROSBY -- 0,0207

I hope he will grow up fast and the proper time for doubling his ice time
will come soon !

And I want more Jordan Staal on ice too ! :)
