Argh. After a very nice offseason so far, the Avs have signed Brett
Clark to a 2 year, $7M contract extension. Yes folks, that's $3.5M
per year for Brett Clark.

Terrible signing.

Wow, that was too much money! He makes 1.5 this season and 3.5 in each of
the next two, that makes
his cap number 2.8 right?

I don't think so, Elz. I think with extensions, they stick with the
old contract until it expires, then they go with the new one. So,
he's $1.something this year, then $3.5 for two years. Horrible
overpayment for a very average player.

On some OT subjects, Michael Vick apparently found Jesus. Great.

And Bush's two best friends just resigned from his staff. I'm not
looking forward to whatever news around the corner caused that.

$1.5m was about 3x what he should be making. $3.5m is absolutely obscene.

FG is smoking some pretty good crack, it would seem.

Just awful. Put a damper on an otherwise nice offseason for the Avs.
