Khabi goes down on waivers:-
http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=251197&lid=sublink06&lpos=headlines_main

The expected move was a trade with LA - they're dangerously 9mil below
the cap minimum and they don't have a goalie (no offence to
Labarbera), only 4 d-guys, and 11 forwards. They need more troopers
about as much as Cadbury needs more melamine. They need faces and
they have lots of cap room, but not a lot of moolah. So it becomes a
very strange animal if they pick up Khabi at half price on the waiver
recall (half of 6.75) and still land $6mil short of the min. After
that, Nashville might be the closest fit to a need and a room.

Sympathies to Khabi if he ends up in AHLville. Perfect spot when the
lockout ended, and downhill since.
