My only reaction to the draft is, how the heck did the Flames get
Cammalleri for nothing but a few picks?

The guy is only 26 and has been almost a point per game over his
career. He's totally under the radar in LA.
This is a great move for Cal

Schenn, is that another way to spell Berehowsky? Lets believe it
when we see it.
Nothing against the guy, but, on draft day, everyone is an all-star.

Dave

Yeah, that is a sweet move by Sutter, especially after trading Tanguay
for a first rounder. It's hard to believe the Kings couldn't do
better. But maybe that's us used to the Leafs burning off first round
picks like they were cigarettes. If the Leafs had traded their 13th
pick last year for Camalleri we probably would have been extatic.

Sure hope Cammalleri didn't go to the wrong coach. GS might have an
opinion on it ... Cam was Mr. Hotstuff to start last season, moving up
to the next level. After the season he's meatmarket product. Calgary
was about the last destination on the guessing board. Islanders with
Nolan or Thrashers with Anderson would have had a better feel to it.

With all draft picks of 18 yearolds, it's a bigger guess (there's
still mumbles about raising the draft age). But Schenn is about as
good a guess as ya can get. From here, Josh Bailey was a gamble and
Kyle Beach was either a steal or a thief.

Well, Keenan should like the guy from what I've heard. He's an upgrade on
Tanguay in just about every single way from my perspective, and I'm sure the
Flames as well.

mmmm, not so sure. Kipper and Tanguay both publicly took their lumps,
didn't they? Does Cam have thick skin? From only a few observations,
it looked like he wilted a bit with the public loss of favour.
