Lundqvist and Hossa both have the flu. Unless Lundqvist is feeling
better tomorrow, it'll probably be Valiquette in net against the
Coyotes. If Hossa can't recover by tomorrow (heaven forbid), a Wolf
Pack forward will be called up (Moore).

Jagr's back hurts, so he took practice off today.

Flu my ass. They have giant medical and training budgets but can't
afford a $20 flu shot? I could never understand a team having the flu.

"Flu" is a generic term that describes not only the serious influenza
virus that kills people worldwide, but also any old crud virus that
people get. And if it's stomach "flu", I don't think there's even a
vaccine for that.

Not the best dinnertime material.

I've been in a couple of in-line rinks where the hygine was bad and the
clean-up
was 10 times worse. You could catch the plague in there.

I haven't ever had one, and I've had the flu less than anyone I know.
And a bunch of people have told me "Oh yeah, you get the shot, then
you get sick like a week later, then you don't get the flu, the rest
of the winter". Thanks, no.

peace,

Never had any adverse effects from the flu shot. It's worked well for me.

Besides, how do you get the flu baning on the drums all day? :-)

It's based on what the predicted flu virus will be this year.

Anyway, I'm sure they'll get the "flu bug" 3 more times this year.
