"With just 46 points in 398 games in the Swedish elite league, Frogren is a
physical shut-down defenceman who was impressive during the recent World
Hockey Championship, going plus-seven while spending part of the tournament
playing alongside Leaf blue liner Anton Stralman."

Another shutdown guy...Frogren. That has the potential to line up three
pairings with a run-n-gun paired with a shut-down. It gives options both on
PP and PK instead of the more recent setups where everyone was run-n-gun and
the PK was crud.

With this much raw rookie though, it has the potential of being really,
really ugly until Wilson's system gets the bugs worked out (IF the system
can cover up the inexperience, that is)

Stajan close to multiyear deal at around $1.6M-$2M. Pretty decent number
for him, no arbitration. He'll be getting more minutes if the big guy isn't
here. I'm curious to see if he can pick up the offense like he seemed to do
near the end of last season. Lord knows they need it.

Leafs sign Ron Wilson as Coach before signing GM. - Leafs sign Ron Wilson as Coach before signing GM. What do you think of the lastest developments of the Toronto Maple Leafs? What do you think of Ron Wilson as a coach? My opinion is there were other options to hire as a coach. For one I felt Greg..
