Anaheim finished the job last night.

One irony I noted on the winning goal was that it went in because
Luongo was more interested in gesticulating to a ref about what he
thought was a penalty along the sideboards than in protecting the
net. A similar thing happened to brodeur in the last New Jersey game.

Now, the refs' predeliction for making penalty calls has gotten so bad
that, along with the fans howling every time somebody falls down or
hits the boards, the players themselves are forgetting to play hockey,
they're so busy clamoring for calls, themselves.
