The Thrashers finally have two healthy goalies with NHL experience. Mike
Dunham was activated from the injured list Friday and will back up Steve
Shields tonight against Tampa Bay.
Rookie Adam Berkhoel, recalled after Dunham suffered a groin strain Oct.
12 against Montreal, was returned to the Chicago Wolves (AHL).
In four games, Berkhoel was 1-2 with a 3.96 goals-against average and
..874 save percentage.
Dunham, who said he felt "real good" after going through a full practice
Friday, is 2-2 with a 2.51 GAA and .900 save percentage in four games.
Shields, signed after a two-game tryout at Chicago, became the fifth
goalie to start for the Thrashers in 10 games when he played in
Thursday's 7-5 loss at Pittsburgh.
