Good Luck to Lombardi and the Kings - I think Bernier is going to be a surprise. Deano is going to build this team into a winner.

Kings beat Ducks in London opener - Los Angeles Kings got the better of the Anaheim Ducks with a 4-1 win before 17,551 O2 Arena fans in the first NHL regular season game ever in Europe. There was a 15-minute delay due to a lighting failure.

Good luck, Max - Best of luck to called-up goalie Max in his efforts with the Caps. We'll miss you here in Now go show them why the Caps drafted you! Mojo Steve

Good luck everyone - So begins the reign of Scott Gomez.

Good luck Witt - He has been a favorite of mine since he was in Juniors as you can tell by the nickname I use. Hopefully the draft picks will help us out in the future.

I expect the Czechs to surprise Canada tomorrow too. Brodeur is questionable
and without him Canada isn't even close to the same team. Even with him the
Czechs are probably the better team. Did you see them handle Sweden? My God, it
was embarrassing, and aside from goaltending Sweden is the best team in the
world.

you're saying that without Brodeur, CAN can't win? I don't think so.
Sure the Cechs are good, they have a few good players, but if the
Cechs win, i'll gladly smack my head with a hammer :)

Well, I'll be rooting for the Czechs. Sorry Corey, I'm an underdog hag but I
don't think they have a chance. Either way Team USA should be embarrassed.
Time to see new younger faces in their line up.

seriously, where's the influx of WJC talent? we saw young guys on the
blueline only because Hatcher, Klee, etc were injured. but they should
definitely be working in some of the young U.S. studs starting
yesterday. enough with the kissing ass of guys who can't play anymore -
especially on the international stage. Hull, Leetch, et. al.

watching this tournament you know who I really missed seeing in the red
white and blue? you guessed it... Deadmarsh :-(
