I would be very surprised to see Aucoin back on the Island anytime soon.
He's now being paid far too much money and has been unusually
injury-prone this season (guess he didn't keep himself in top shape during
the lockout). Cullimore however is a much more intriguing possibility - he
makes under $2mil and is a huge, defensive-minded guy, which is exactly
what the Islanders need right now. If Chicago is dead-set on getting a
"skilled" center, maybe the Islanders can send them Niinimaa and Kvasha in
exchange for Cullimore and a prospect.
