is there actual smoke to this blood doping story, or is this just BS to
cover up the ridiculous nature of the emergency response to his collapse,
you know, considering the RSL/KHL going up a level is pretty much a part of
a government initative to raise Russian sports profile?

Because, of course, the best way to market your trophy hockey league would
be for players to drop dead because of negligence, much easier to blame it
on him being an idiot who doped with a medical condition.

Can't really believe ANYthing Russian authorities tell you. What happens
on the spot, and the coverage that's rushed is the best you will get
with Russia.

Chernobyl WAS contained, for 3 days. Until Sweden "whiffed" the winds.
If not for the monitoring, would we know about it even a year later the
accident?

if he was doping, wouldn't they know that from the original autopsy? Why
did it take 2 months for that to become known?

If he was doping, then maybe someone was putting him up to it, like the
team, and maybe they tried to cover it up?

I was skeptical of this report too. It doesn't answer any questions,
just raises more.

Even in the US, I've seen lots of autopsy reports in the press with the
note that toxicology reports are pending.

It seems fishy to me. Wasn't Cherepanov on a variety of teams for
international tournaments that follow the Olympic/WADA testing protocols?
