Did anyone notice?

The third was the most boring period of hockey I've ever seen.

Well, it doesn't seem to have been on TV, so how could we notice? (Yeah,
I know it was on MSG2, the invisible channel...)

Yes. They did win. I'm not sure what to make of it.

That means there's 6 more weeks of winter.

Sadly, all it means is that the Rangers happened to score more goals
than the other team in a 60 minute stretch. It tells us nothing of
the past or future. In fact, we've probably changed the outcome of
the next game by measuring the score of the Buffalo one.

I started drifting off midway through. It's like both teams just
accepted the final at the end of the second.

Only the Rangers - Only the Rangers could allow 1 goal in 3 games, and still manage to lose 2 of them. Both goalies were great tonight. Still amazing that the guys who get paid to score can't do it. Can we give Lundqvist the Vezina yet? Beating the Devils always feels....

It's such a privilege to be a Rangers fan - It's great that even in a meaningless preseason game, we managed an attendance of 18202. The sense of superiority I have over dumb Devils fans and Devils season ticket holders make me appreciate even more my sophisticated and refined lifestyle. Also,..

Rangers were great - In Garbage time that is. Only seen the last period. Was Lundqvist weak tonight? Not that he has been the major problem so far but it seems most every goal against him this year has been top shelf. That certainly is his weakness.

Rangers really turning it around - Early in the season they couldn't score, but they could rely on their penalty kill and goaltending to win them games. They still can't score, but the special teams and goaltending is evening up the Rangers game. Exciting stuff.

Leafs 6 - Rangers 2 - In my mind. Cold reality is telling me 3-2 Rangers with Henrik and Toskola trading miracles. I wish Avery was playing so he could let the Leafs in on the most recent cancer treatments and fill them in on the well-being of their mothers.
