Trying to watch SCSU play them gophers on FSN, and I'm hanging in there
despite this pair of clown (Mozoco and Woog) calling the game. Amazing how
big the olympic-sized ice at Mariucci looks. I've been searching the Wild
and Excel Center website, but I can't find the dimensions of the ice surface
at The X. Anyone know what it is?

I'd be surprised if it was 200 x 85 most of the time, but with the capacity to
go to 200 x 100 for international matches. (The E Center of West Valley was
built with the 2002 Winter Games in mind, and I might be mistaken, but I seem
to remember a game or two being played there that winter.)

Change the beginning of that graf to "I *wouldn't* be surprised"...that's what
I get for posting this late after putting up the story of the Aeros' 3-1
frustration at the Toybox tonight.
