Given that they seem unlikely to ever become suddenly "beautiful" to
watch, they need to play that smothering game to be effective. Yes,
it's harder to achieve that against the better and smarter teams, as
we've seen, but the Sharks seem only to have that trick from their
pony.
And, it is becoming apparent that they play better almost anyplace
that has real ice, rather than the melted paraffin they they skate on
in San Jose.
