I'll accept an OT loss point on the road - against a good team -
anytime, much less with this still injury-depleted lineup. Good job
guys, especially without another starter (Lydman) out of the game with
an injury. Remarkable season considering the amount of man-games lost
this year. Imagine the points this team would have with a full lineup.
It'll be an interesting last few games before the playoffs. Max,
Kotalik, Paille, and of course, Tim Connolly WILL all be back before
the final against Philly. That's gonna be awesome !

The Buffaloes are hanging in there, much to our surprise. Perhaps
they will win the conference for the regular season. But they'll
still be first round victims of the broom equipped Leafs.

The Leafs are looking forward to Kaberle coming back. Kaberle is,
far and away, the best D in the Conference, although admittedly he
takes the back seat to a few D in the Western Conference.
Haven't heard the news on Peca. But hopefully he'll be back and
will play a key role in the first round series against his former
team.
The Buffaloes can't match either Sundin or Perreault in the faceoff
circle and when the draw goes back to Kaberle, McCabe or Kubina,
magical things happen. Hopefully Miller will play well enough that
the team won't be totally embarrassed. Biron, of course, will be
golfing and dreaming, along with the rest of his ex-teammates, of
what could have been.
cordially, as always,

Gaustad is hoping to return during the playoffs. Don't know if it will
happen though. Let's just hope at least that they stay healthier this time
around.

I think maybe the Thrashers should fire their skate sharpener. Did you see
De Vries go head first into the boards all on his own? Someone else from
Atlanta also stumbled in a similar way.
I don't think the sabres have played very well over the last 8 or so games.
Hopefully they can pick it up a little and finish the season well.
I noticed that the NHL hasn't designated the Sabres as having clinched a
playoff spot yet. What's up with that? >> Stay informed about: Injury-depleted Sabres get a point in ATL |

I think it was Kovalchuk.

Connolly? I don't think so. I think their cap limit prevents them from
bringing him back before the end of the regular season. Any one have any
input on this? >> Stay informed about: Injury-depleted Sabres get a point in ATL |

I don't see it looking at the standings by division. The symbol for
clinching a spot (x) is listed on the legend there, but I don't see it next
to Buffalo in the standings. Where do you see it?
