At this admittedly early part of the NHL season, the Sharks lead the
NHL in faceoff percentage with 56.2% won. This, despite Goc having a
dreadful 37% average. Joe has been dominant, winning 69%. I can't
ever recall the Sharks leading the NHL in faceoff wins before.

What is the percentage of times that after winning the faceoff they
give it back to the opponent via a dump-in?

Amen. Even Remenda was peeved the other night in Chicago, doing a
video vignette showing the Sharks winning faceoffs, and the defensemen
immediately firing it up the ice and heading for the bench. He said
that you should be able to effect line changes without donating the
pcuk back to the opposition doing it, for which he's 100% correct.

I might add that it's [articularly essential to figure a methof
mainatining possession duirng line changes because the Sharks like to
roll lines on short shifts. It seems they play half the game dumping
and running for the bench.
