Its too bad, i think he should have had a better shot up with the Leafs.
The Leafs were very weak in front of their own net last season, and Jay
would have helped that area substantially. He would have been far better in
the lineup then Andy Wozniewski or even Ian White.

With the Leafs being so bad, i am not sure why he didnt get a better look.

Tunnel.

Tunnel,
You are so very correct on this one.
Why he isn't in the NHL is a mystery to me.
Hopefully he has a great season over there and he gets picked up by a
team on this side of the pond.
I actually was looking forward to seeing him play here.
Must be something, the team obviously felt there was more downside
than upside potential.
And in those cases they don't usually think conditioning and training
can rectify it or, the player isn't willing to address their
shortcomings as in the case of Wellwood as is being suggested by
others.

Pity.

Oh....

The contract with Jay Harrison is for the 2008/09 season valid and
provides an exit clause to 15 July 2008, should the player a one-way
contract from the NHL.

I've got an buddy on working on the inside with the Battalion and we've
been wondering why Jay never got a chance. He as "in" in PQ's last year,
were it not for an injury. He's not a great skater...
