You want to trade him away in the middle of his career year?

No. No. No. It's only nine games. On second thought though if he keeps
this up he'll only play in 18 so yeah...I guess it's the middle of the
year of him.

I think I'd take that. Gomez is just extraordinarily overpaid. So
far he hasn't been assisting opponents with own-goals-on-a-platter.

There comes a time when the student becomes the teacher and the

I'm glad his time with Malik has taught him something.

Cmon after all of the former Devils like Driver, Holik and Gomez we've had
to endure...the least you could do is ride out Rachunek for a year.

Besides one of the NJD newsgroup denizens proclaimed that Rachunek was going
to have a career year with the NJD and that he was really mismanaged by the
Rangers during his stay at MSG.

Actually, a Toronto fan, who frequents both the Devils and Rangers
groups, suggests that it was Ottawa that messed him up.

peace,

He only frequents the Rangers group on days leading up to Rangers-Leafs
games.

But yeah, I think Rachunek arrived in NY with a torn-down defensive game
after being poorly handled by Jaques Martin.

One thing about Karel Rachunek - He's actually better than Johnny Oduya.

Anaheim in 6, Ottawa in 6 - And the Ducks take home the Cup.

How was that any different.... - How was that waved-off goal in Buffalo any different than the one in game 1 against the Rangers? Why did that one count, and this one didn't? By the way, VS. is absolutely terrible. Joe Beninati? Why don't they just get Rick Jeanerette or some other....

Scary good - More "scary" than "good".

Teeeeee-mu Selanne! - And Hockey Town is stunned. Woooo-Hooo!!
