There must have been at LEAST 75, 80 fans in the building tonight.

I swear, the Isles had over 30 shots, and I remember about three of
them. The game was not very interesting at all - neither team had more
than 20 seconds of sustained pressure during the entire game. It was a
snoozer.

Every kid under 16 was let in for free. I got a $60 seat in row G of the
300s, and my daughter got a matching ticket for free.

This may not make you feel better, but I didn't even realize they were
playing until I accidentally hit the "down" channel button and they
were down 3-0.

Does that make you feel better? Probably not.

What you should really feel good about is that I will try to catch
Islanders games whenever I can, and about 90% of the time when I do
they end up winning. Case in point, the Islanders won 1-0 last night
during the time that I watched. That's the effect I have on things.
The opposite of what I want to happen will always happen.

I'm actually feeling better about last night.

Isles lost 3-1.
Rangers lost 4-0.

That means that the Islanders are infinitely better offensively, and 33%
better defensively.
