THE LOU LAMORIELLO CURSE LIVES ON

Sweet Lou cursed all canadian teams in 93, when Barry Melrose stated
he was happy his Kings lost to a canadian team----I believe the actual
comment was something along the lines of "may a canuck team NEVER win
the cup as long as I am alive". Aside from being the greatest GM and
team builder of all time in the nhl, we now discover he is a prophet
as well. Sweet Lou, you are a hockey god, and the best thing
to happen to the nhl in a long time. Who would have thought, after the
Sens lose this series, that your prophecy holds true, 14 years later.
Quite pathetic to think no canadian team can win a cup, but a sign of
the times none the less.

P.S. Anybody ever wonder what the REAL reason was for Sweet Lou not
playing Broduer on that final day of the season?
