The Sharks have near nothing to lose by doing a single- or multi-
player deal on offense.

If that's a critique of the Kings game, I was there.

I had my fill of turkey Thursday night. These guys don't know which
direction "a clue" is.

Take it easy on the poor Sharkies. They're skaters, not scorers. Note
how nobody stands in front of the goalie. They're all too busy skating
along the boards.

I tried to count Marleau miscues in the third...I lost count after a dozen
or so. Maybe a change of scenery would do him good.

I can report that there was some excellent hockey for five minutes
between the first and second periods, when two local Pee-Wee teams
played. Great to see any home team at the Tank play with passion and
skill! ;-)

I think the first move for the Sharks is to put the "C" on Grier.
He's already wearing the A and he's the only guy (Joe included) who
plays to score 100% of the time. Nabby is doing all he can.

There were quite a few missed shots. I counted at least 4 golden
chances lost, 3 of them by Marleau and one, the potential equalizer,
by Cheechoo. Cheech's was a real heartbreaker.

Here's a new knickname for Erhoff. "Christian Shot-wide-of-the-net
Erhhoff?" How about switching "Hat trick Patrick Marleau" to "Mat
trick Patrick Marleau?" I'm through defending the latter. Let's send
those two to Calgary for Phaneuf or Tanguay.

Sad, and you could be right: Ehrhoff may have developed as much as he
is ever going to.
