The good thing about having another drummer reply to one of my posts,
I don't have to supply the rimshot!

No I'm not...however I am doing some research on what it will cost to
switch and when Comcast is taking over here.

I don't know much about it but what I do know would keep me from going
that way. The internet is slow by FiOS standards...about 6 megs down and
because this is IPTV you can only have one HD stream coming in at time.

There's some technical difference between UVerse and FiOS that I don't
completely understand. What I do understand is that UVerse has more HD
alternatives than Comcast, has more of the NY local channels than
Comcast does, has MSG, YES, SNY, and NESN overflow channels (Comcast
doesn't), has a 4-tuner DVR (making it easier to record overlapping
shows). And, at least to start, it's more than $50 less per month (and
I'd get the NFL Network back without having to pay still more). That's a
huge difference, given that I don't have any premium channels. The only
thing it doesn't have (that I might want) is Center Ice, but the basic
fee is so high and Rangers games no longer get blacked out in
Connecticut. So I'm thinking seriously about it.

Do they have the NHL channel? While I initially dismissed it as a
Bettman version of Metro - having a 24 hour hockey channel has become
heaven on earth in the Viceroy household. Anytime during the day I
can turn it on and there's hockey. Oh be still my beating heart.
NHL On The Fly - continuous highlights of all the night's hockey -
rerun the next morning. Oh baby.

They don't, but Comcast doesn't seem to either. At least, I can't find a
trace of it on the channel lineup listed on their web site.

Comcast has it on channel 276 in my Central New Jersey location ...
