I just wonder if it is too late to write to Santa Claus, some extension
of the wish list. Even though he lives in Lappland in Finland as all the
Finnish children know, I do not think I have been nice enough for him to
grant all my wishes. Anyway, if he would grant even some, I would have a
top priority for a magic wand for Guy Carbonneau. Even a fairly simple
model would do, one that would make the Habs to play for the full 60
minutes of every game.

If there were some more sophisticated models in stock, I would not mind
if it made the players to follow the system defined by the coaching
staff, especially the defensive system. I believe this would help the
transition game as well, because if they are not cheating in their
defensive duties, they will be in good position to take the game to the
other end as soon as they get the puck.

Then I wish all the fans, team, coaching staff and the management
health and happines.

This should be enough to brin the cup #25 to Montreal.

Yours

- Lauri Tarkkonen

Merry Christmas from the snow-capped peaks of the Rockies.

New Year's Prediction - by March there'll be a lot of
nattering nabobs of negativism in here slapping their
foreheads and saying d'Oh! :-)

Yep. Sure hope you all have a good one. I love Chirstmas and everything
about it. The food, the lights, the presents, the Chistmas sepcials. Even
the comercialism and the crazy amount of advertising! LOL.

Have a great Chistmas everyone.

Merry Christmas guys - Here's hoping that after Christmas our discussions revolve around more W's than L's. have a good one .....

The REAL Christmas road trip - I think the real road trip that will give us an indication about where the team is headed this year is the one that starts tonight. The Christmas trip this year was really two trips of three games, split up with a stint at home for practices and the..

To all you Hab fans I was rude to - I am sorry.. for acting liike a 12 year old.. who cares who wins the cup as long as it is in Canada.. To all you TRUE fans who come on to cheer and post on your habs... I am sorry to you.. Lets keep the war on the the ice.. not on the NG Cheers

An interesting thought... - We're all expecting Price to rip it up in camp and turn Huet into excess baggage. But what if he doesn't? What if he and Halak are good, but not outstanding...and *Huet* is the best goalie? It gets a lot tougher for Gainey to pull the trigger on a..

What's happened to Souray? - Obviously he didn't want to return to Montreal, but if he ends up signing for 5 mill or less and doesn't go to the west coast isn't that just a little bit embarrasing for him? I think he overestimated his value some.
