An option? Might not want to trade this guy that fast.

I'm not sure either since he makes quite a hefty salary, but it's prorated.
And a portion of his salary is in bonuses. If it's financially viable (not
that Sather cares about that sort of thing), I'd definitely give it a shot.
It certainly can't hurt. And it might serve as a much needed "shake up".

What would they do with the other two goalies? Can either be sent to
Hartford? Maybe Lundqvist can be put on the IR for bruised ego?

Might as well give him a good long rest.

Lundqvist was bad last night, and hasn't been good in a long time, but
the defense more than anything is what's killing the team. I don't
think they could do much worse with another goaltender in net for a
while.

I'm sure Vali can be sent down. I mean it's not like somebody would claim
him. Not like he isn't replaceable. Personally I think they should send
Lundqvist home to see his father who apparently had a very serious surgery.
Take a game or two off. Maybe that's what's been effecting him so much.

Hope Montoya plays well in the minors - Trade Bait.

Anaheim in 6, Ottawa in 6 - And the Ducks take home the Cup.

How was that any different.... - How was that waved-off goal in Buffalo any different than the one in game 1 against the Rangers? Why did that one count, and this one didn't? By the way, VS. is absolutely terrible. Joe Beninati? Why don't they just get Rick Jeanerette or some other....

Scary good - More "scary" than "good".

Teeeeee-mu Selanne! - And Hockey Town is stunned. Woooo-Hooo!!
