Post subject: NHL Network 10/23?

I know I got a message before about it on the digital cable box, but the
channel never showed up. Got another message today saying it will be on
starting 10/23 on channel 276 -- but it WILL be on their sports tier
(with NFL Network, etc.) that you have to pay the extra five bucks for.
I'm a bit surprised. Maybe Comcast doesn't have ownership in it like
they do with Versus?
But it also says it'll be on a free preview until 12/1.

Hey Joe....so its a part of that 5.00 per month sports package comcast
offers? the one that includes fox college sports and such. |

That's the one. It has the NFL Network too. But since they're having the
free preview until 12/1, I can order it around Thanksgiving, when the
NFL Network shows its first game.

Called Comcast, and they said the sports tier is $1.99. I'm afraid I am

That might be an introductory price or temporary reduction. (Or are we
in different areas where they charge different rates?) The $5 figure is
stuck in my head, I'm pretty sure that's the regular price.

So far, the Dish website says nothing about NHL Network. They tend to
add channels quietly; hitt he guide button on the remote, and - lo and
behold - there's the Big Teneleven Network!
