Basically Renney can do 1 of 2 things every night.

First, he can play the fourth line a ton. This means the Rangers have
approximately a 0.05% chance of scoring, a 35% chance of taking a bad
penalty, and a 20% chance of letting a goal in.

Secondly, he can play the first three lines more. This mean the
Rangers have a 0.05% chance of scoring, a 10% chance of taking a
penalty, and a 50% chance of letting a goal in.

I guess when you look at it, the fourth line really is the best option.

Their "playing well" has really paid off.

Yea, if it wasn't for that team cancer Gomez they would have got shutout.
Actually that first line has been playing well, one of the few bright spots
over the last 2 or 3 weeks.

Right, we have been playing with one line the last few years and you see
where that got us. Not very far. Hopefully more players step it up or we
will be the same as last year. If we make it that far.

How was that any different.... - How was that waved-off goal in Buffalo any different than the one in game 1 against the Rangers? Why did that one count, and this one didn't? By the way, VS. is absolutely terrible. Joe Beninati? Why don't they just get Rick Jeanerette or some other....

Scary good - More "scary" than "good".

Team +/- leader? - NY Rangers website lists top plus/minus player for 06-07 season was ... Marek Malik??? How the hell is that possible? Is it simply that he played most often with the top scoring line. Hopefully those in charge will look beyond the stat ... PLEASE?
